End dark money in New Jersey politics.

We're advocating for a new state law that stops corporations from spending money on elections—at the source.

What This Is

A new strategy for an old fight.

Since Citizens United, corporations and dark money groups have been able to pour unlimited money into elections.

Most efforts try to fight that ruling in court.

We're taking a different approach.

New Jersey has the power to define what corporations are allowed to do.

That includes whether they can spend money on elections at all.

Our plan: pass a state law that removes that power—so corporate election spending never happens in the first place.

The Path

How this actually works.

01

The state sets the rules

New Jersey can change what corporations are allowed to do—at any time.

02

It applies to everyone

Any change applies to every corporation operating in New Jersey, immediately.

03

No outside loopholes

Out-of-state corporations only get the same rights as New Jersey corporations—so they can't get around the law.

The legislature only listens when we show up.
